A traumatized Shawn decides it would be best to sever his ties to the government agency. He settles into his new life as a mercenary, spending his time completing missions for random citizens with many demented and messed up goals, such as killing a loved one to get his fortune, or killing a pervert because he raided the client's pantry drawer. Shawn doesn't complain; it's easy money, after all.
